The ASES Congress is a traditional gathering place for civil engineers, where the results achieved over the previous two years are reviewed, important events and projects are announced, and an overview of current achievements in science, research, and structural engineering practice is presented. Given the regional importance and recognition of the Congress, a significant number of international participants is expected in addition to the many attendees from Serbia. The Congress will showcase the most notable structural engineering accomplishments in the fields of design, construction, maintenance, and rehabilitation of civil engineering structures. The substantial increase in construction-sector activity will ensure that a special part of the Congress is dedicated to presenting domestic and global experiences, skills, and insights related to the Fourth Industrial Revolution—advances in additive manufacturing of concrete and steel, the application of artificial intelligence, machine learning, digitalization, and BIM technologies in design, construction, monitoring, and structural rehabilitation. The program will also include presentations of the latest scientific results — covering theoretical, experimental, and numerical research of interest to the civil engineering profession.
